Is it bad time management? Do people not have home toilets? Do they have phobias of pooping in private? Is "get paid to pop" the motivation?

I have never needed to do this. I can't understand why others do. Obnoxious answers accepted.

Several people let me know that pooping at work is "not" private. I know this. Phobia of pooping in private would be a fear of pooping at home, you nitwits. And they say education in the U.S. is pathetic...

You got nothing better to do than monitor your co-worker's toilet habits?

Maybe you are clockwork regular and get your "business" done first thing in the morning without fail.

Maybe some other people experience a whole range of variablility in the timing of the bowel movements. Some may be pretty regular with some variations while some may never know when the urge to "go" is going to hit. Irritable bowel syndrome affects many people who simply have to "go" at unpredictable intervals.

Some people cannot easily ignore their bodies needs and must use facilities wherever they find them.

I hope your question is delivered out of ignorance instead of arrogance.

If you hold back when you need to go you will keep fecal matter in your colon longer than it needs to be there. As a result, it will keep getting water sucked out of it by your colon until it dries up, creating an impacted bowl, more commonly known as constipation. If this goes unchecked a number of things can happen. 1) fecal matter will pile up inside you. In very serious cases it will backup to your stomach, causing you to vomit poo. 2) If it stays there long enough, you will actually damage your colon and will need to have that portion removed.

Either of these would be bad news. Also, if things sit in your colon too long you are more likely to develop colon cancer which is the number 2 cancer killer in the US. And that has no symptoms until you are nearing your new shelf date.

So, to answer your question. The answer is, because it's a healthy thing to do.

why does it have to be phobia to poop in your own home. It's just the place to go when you need to go. People dont need to manage their time to poop because both places have toilets.

You are assuming that people are afraid to use public restrooms, which is not true for everyone.

Because many people poop on cycles, at the same approximate time each day. If that time coincides with work then there isn't much choice.

I tend to do the three S's in the morning (military guys know what I mean), and rarely at work. But sometimes I do.

I think anyone who believes they should only "poop" at home is repressed in a way. When I was in high school and before that, I rarely felt the need to go at school, mostly due to the complete lack of privacy and enormous amount of traffic in high school bathrooms. When I left home and went to college, I got over this and now when I feel the need, I go. Sometimes at home, sometimes at work, and occasionally at Starbucks.

Well, sometimes, you are in such a hurry at home that you don't have time to poop. It comes right when you sit at your desk. Most of your digestion happens when you are sleeping, so especially if you work in the morning, ya gotta go poop at work. Where else can you go?

One of my bosses has this horrible habit of eating 5 - 6 times a day because of this macrobiotic diet he's on. Some of the mushy stuff he eats looks like seaweed and dolphin scat. There are 2 bathrooms here but he rudely uses the one in his partner's office while he's consulting with clients. Most of the time you can clearly hear what's going on in there. When he's finisihed he comes out smiling like his scat doesn't stink, but it is really foul. You are what you eat.

It's called, "on a schedule poop." They might have morning or afternoon poops which cause' them to let it go at work. Pooping at work would not be considered pooping in private.

Sometimes you just have to go. I try to go before work but sometimes I wake up late so I just have to go at work. It also does help because you can smoke for 10 minutes befor lunch, take your 1 hour lunch, smoke for 10 minutes afterward, then go take a crap for 40 minutes. That's a 2 hour lunch right there! And no one can say a thing to you about it. HA!
