Is it expensive or a rip off to pay someone else to sell my things on ebay? I don't have a computer at home or the time. I tried to find out how much they will charge me and they tell me it depends on how much the item sells for. Has anyone else gone through someone else to sell and was it worth it?

I'm not selling crap either. I'm selling valuable things.

I just started this job a month ago. I do not have enough work to keep me busy. I am used to working with 40 jobs at one time, granted they were smaller and less work to be done on them, I AM BORED THOUGH. My boss knows that I do not have things to do, but doesn't give me more to do. They also told me that they are as slow as they have ever been. So I am scared that the position will fizzle if it stays slow. this is also follow up to a previous question that I asked about money and accepting another position closer to home.

I was on the verge of Bankruptcy a couple years ago and my parents generously offered to allow me to move back home for a year to get my credit squared away.

In that year, I managed to settle my debt with almost all my creditors for about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the orginal debt. For example, my debt with one credit card was about $1,800 and I settled for $1,000 and paid it off.

A year or so later, I'm starting to receive letters from different creditors stating that I owed now $800.00 to them as they've bought the balance of my debt from the last collection agency.

Is this legal? Why should I bother settling if they can turn right around and make the pay the full balance anyway? I live in the State of Oklahoma if that matters.

I just started a job about a month ago in a different avenue of the field that I have almost 20 years experience in. I took the position because I did not realize that the mileage and travel times would be so high and make my life so much more stressed than I think that the one closer to my house would. I can still accept the position closer to home at 2.69 less per hour, is it worth it to travel 50 miles less a day and save 2 1/2 hours and tolls? Please help.
Also the closer to home position is exactly what I am experienced and comfortable with. PLEASE HELP

what happens when you purchase 10,000 shares of a penny stock whose 10 day average volume is 77,0000 shares? Will the trade move the stock up only to trigger a mass sell off?

I've got an interview along with the actual assessment of "Audio Typist" tomorrow.

I've a typing speed of 90wpm, however, that's by READING text as opposed to listening it. Since I never came across the "Audio Typing" before, I wonder just to get used to with the actual concept itself, if there's any website that I could possibly use to practise a little.

I know there are many website that allows you to type by TEXT READING & then tell you your speed along with accuracy, etc. I wonder if there's similar website somewhere that deal with AUDIO allowing you to HEAR & then type & then tell you your speed, accuracy, etc.

This would help me gain little confidence in the job that I'm going to have an interview of.

I've heard that any contract has a cancellation period that you can exercise even if it's not explicitly stated. I'm not sure if this is certain state laws, federal laws or just untrue.

I live in a section 8 apartment and they are constantly switching management companies, we just got a new manager and she was going thru my rent history and says she found a money order that threw her off with the total for June 2004! She sends me a 5-day notice and says I owe about a hundred dollars, so I said ok send me a copy of that Money order and I will pay it but dont send me a print out or anything hand written because anyone before her could have made a mistake. She said she doesnt keep copies, My question is, can she send me to court for not paying that money? If she can't show me any proof, how do I know if what she is telling me is in fact true? I never get a receipt that they even got the rent, they think the money order is proof of that, I say its is just MY PROOF THAT I PAID THE RENT! Arent they supposed to issue me a separate receipt? am I supposed to pay for that money of 2004?

My employeer has all but given me the official "notice" he said by the end of the day I would know if I can keep my job or not. I am very upset seeing as how this job is the best job I have ever had, and I just bought a car. Now all of a sudden they don't know if they want to demote the old executive assistant back to her position and fire me or not. WTF??? I've been here 7 monthes - never called in sick or anything - always on time. Yet here I am trying to figure out how my family will make it on only one salary. I am normally a very positive person however this situation has gotten me all shook up and very depressed/stressed. Is there anybody out there that understands? Any words of encouragement and advice would be very appreciated.

I am tired of my current city and decided to move. My company has an office in the city where I'm moving to, so I kind of gave them an ultimatum: I moving and I can stay with your company...or leave. (I was nice about it of course). They graciously offered to let me work in the office of my new city. But since I told them that I was moving, I'm paying for all expenses. The cost of living is lower in my new city, so I doubt that they'll give me a cost of living increase. But should I ask for something extra?? I'm really only getting a job out of the deal, which I appreciate a lot :-)

Our company received a bill for shipping from '97. We've never heard about this before. As far as anyone knows this is the first attempt to collect. We're not even sure we have records that far back. We asked for a copy of the original bill and they won't send it. Do we have to pay? Can someone point me to any laws, regulations pertaining to this?
