Yahoo had the best financial format online. Now complicated, slow, and screwed up. After screwing up bulletin boards, now this.Poeple that want information want it simple and fast. Too complex and too slow. Return to old format. The new financial programmers are ruining the best and making terrible mistakes.
Technical analysis needs to be one-shot, fast, and simple. This new format is nowhere as easy to use as old. I don't want to spend all morning switching screens to half a dozen when the old format had it all on one screen

into a school (online or in person)? Those in the business - what do you recommend? I know it all comes down to portfolio anyway, but if you have ideas and want to crank them out, what would you recommend for a novice? I've downloaded the educational MAYA program from apple as a start.

My boss is pressuring me for my family to attend a company family function. I have said no. His family functions are "drama" anyway and I don't want my kids around it, even for a few hours. I am getting ready to leave this job of 3 years in a few weeks and my wife will not attend a function with people (boss and his ditzy wife) that won't speak to her in public.
Any good thoughts on how to handle?

I moved into this house that I heard had an illegal house hooked up to it - water, electricity, i think it used to be a garage they turned into a studio - and the landlord says that I need to change the PG&E into my name, but I don't want to get screwed and have to pay the back houses' electricity. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

So, I live in Arizona. Had to move out, break my lease because i cannot afford the rent. However, I do realize responsibility, and if needed I will pay for the remainder of the lease. However when the the lease was signed the owner lives out of state, and I sent a signed copy to her but never recieved one back. Just wondered if I had any loopholes? There are other issues, so if so, this will help my case. Thanks for all you help my yahooers.

As a general rule how much less would interest rates need to be before it became a good idea to refinance? Lets also assume that you've had the existing loan for somewhere between 2-5 years.

I bought a phone, paid through paypal... never received the phone. I have opened a dispute in paypal, but the seller hasn't bothered to reply to my e-mails so I don't expect any communication through paypal. Tonight I tried to get the sellers phone number only to discover that they are no longer a registered user. I am very p*ssed off and wonder what I can do now? I e-mailed ebay and am quite reluctant to take it further through paypal cause they'll charge me to get my money back! Grrrr!

Hey all,

I was curious as to how many people have had bad experiences with UPS. I have a couple friends from school who work there and they have repeatedly warned me away from using UPS to send anything important. They said no one cares if they smash boxes, and will occasionally throw boxes around just to amuse themselves.

For my story, I ordered a very hard to find pair of speakers from a store online. It took me a while to find them, and when I did, they sent them to me via UPS. A week passes... no speakers.... another week goes by. No word. Finally, they add a message to my order status. "Package destroyed in shipment. Returning to sender."

So after two weeks of waiting, I find out UPS smashed them. Then, I find out that those had been the last two the store had in stock. Lucky me.
