While my mother was married to Antonio, he was the beneficiary of her Openhiemer fund. They separated after he was released from Federal prison. He changed his name and reemerged. He died under this name, doctor who cared for him knows that he died under the alias. Won't give any information confidentiality. My mother believed that her children were going to get this money. Can anyone give me some help? Told you it was tough, but it's the truth. Have you ever had one of those days?? Well I'm having one of those lives. I didn't know where to put this.

So I've been working as a "Finance Manager" at a local tech college. I'm making $35,000 with my MBA. (I live in Utah...the pay here is lame). My work duties include everything from writing grants to request funding for school projects to purchasing textbooks for instructors. The work I'm doing right now could be done by a high-school graduate...My boss, the campus president, has hopes of having me become the vice-president of the college.

Just yesterday I was offered (totally out of the blue) a position with a bank. They want a Controller who, within the next few years, WILL become the CFO of this billion-dollar bank. I hadn't even applied with this bank...they got wind of my credentials from a colleague. They are offering me $50,000 a year…the benefits are about the same and I would be doing a lot more MBA-geared work.

Obviously the actual moving expense, but what else is appropriate? Assistance in buying a house? House rental untill a house can be bought? Compensation for a spouse having to leave a job? What else should we try to get negotiated before we actually agree to go?

I work this company for more than two months right now. I am think about to look for an other job, should i put this position down on my resume??
On the offer letter my title as Financial Analyst but on my first day of worked, the mananger decided put me on Coporate Accounting group instead on Coporate Finance and reporting. and the manager never gave me a new title. I do not know what should i put down as my title.
I do not want to put down the wrong title, then later on when other company call my current employer for what's my position, if the title is not match up. they will think i lie on my resume

in front of everyone. He said being on CPT is not acceptable. Should I report him to corporate or chalk it up to him having a bad day and move on? CPT is short for Colored People's Time, meaning lateness. I wouldn't normally think he's racist because his wife is black.

I live in Ukraine. For 3 years I lived in DC, US and graduated from local high school in 2000. I have a master diploma of foreign relations, which I obtained in Kiev, Ukraine, a quite good knowledge of English, native Ukrainian and Russian, and a bit of Spanish.
Is there any way I could get a good work in US? May be anyone could help?

I recently opened a dot.com business on the internet selling diet/nutritional products. The company I am a distributor for has told me they will send me a check to use on advertising and they are in the process right now of determining how large a check they will cut. There is a tremendously strong market in my area for this specific product and I'm already having success. I definetly want to run ads in a few of the small town papers outside of Nashville. The ads are cheap. Nashville, however, is another story. Ads can get quite costly. Should I target the general public and place my ad in the Nashville City paper or should I target parents, primarily women, by placing it in the Nashville Parent magazine? This would be an ad run IN ADDITION to the Nashville Tennessean city paper.

ok, so i work in a fast paced environment, we had to hire some temps to help us out because this project that they had me do, i needed some help with. well this morning one of the girls that has been helping me comes in and tells me that she got a job offer, i was really excited for her because it sounded like a nice opportunity. So then i asked her when she was going to let our boss know (mainley so i knew when somone else would be here to help me) and she told me that she isn't telling anyone she is just going to stop showing up. am i being selfish because i know i need help, or should she tell someone that she is leaving on the 18th? please help!
