Yes, we donate $ alllllllllllll the time. I pick things that people are doing and sponsor them. I do not give anything out over the phone. Those people are nuts if they call here asking for a donation for this or that in this day and age.of losers who want to scam you of your hard earned money. And our money is HARD EARNED.
So, in answer to your question, we definitely support a lot of foundations at hospitals and such, we donate to the Susan Komen breast cancer foundation, and on and on........
As far as volunteering, with work and two kids and all that encompasses I mostly volunteer at the school, am on the board, etc.

I'm an engineer working with a big telecommunications company and a freelance writer (cars and technology). I give to charities depending on the needs, such as 9/11 charities, Hurricane Katrina, local libraries and food banks, etc.

I work at home with 2 network marketing companies and love it. As far as charity, I give to the church and to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

I am a stay at home mom. We can't afford to give money most months, so I give time to various organizations that always need volunteers. Also thinking of getting training to join my local volunteer ambulance corps.

My job title is corporate facilities technician. But, I run and manage a conference center for a large bank and also assist executives and their assistants in numerous functions and duties.

I give when I can. I live paycheck to paycheck because of school loans, mortgage, car bill, etc.

I work in county government and have a payroll deduction twice a month for UnitedWay. I also do several service projects each year through Relief Society (the women's organization at my church) and contribute to the church welfare and humanitarian fund.

I started a thrift store for St Jude Childrens Hospital in 1989 and work it along with a few other family members and send money to them monthly to try to help find cures for cancer.
