Our MD has announced that there may be redundancies in the company due to the loss of a large client. He has said that he is not open for voluntary redundancies and as yet does not know what package he will offer to those made redundant. Does anyone know if he HAS to offer voluntary redundancies and any rules he must follow on this?

I have 10.5 days holiday left but not sure if they will let me take it. I have been working at the company for almost 2 years and the holidays run from Feb - Feb. I have taken 9 days. I am not sure where i stand because of the thing with a day and a half for every month worked. Am i entitled to take my holiday as part of my notice.

can you invest in real estate when you are a real estate agent, are there any downs?

what is the difference if you are a real estate agent and invest and if you are not a real estate agent and invest?

the reason i ask this is because one of my friends is a real estate agent and he makes investments but the houses he buys are never under his name he tells me that's the smart thing to do, but why? there must be something, i don't understand, he has very good credit never married no kids and enough money for down payments 20% every time he buys,i don't get it, im i missing something.

i asked in different ways because some people just don't get it and i'm trying to avoid useless answers, it would be very helpful if you answer all the questions, thank you.

Do you agree or disagree that the USA should get rid of the income tax and create a national sales tax? The poor consume less so naturally they would pay less, but with the fair tax they would be able to keep their entire paycheck. It would save time & money in the government by eliminating tax evasion and freeing up the legal system. The Gov. would save billions by not having to process income taxes, and it would eliminate payroll taxes so companies would have more money to spend boosting productivity, while people will have more money to spend which in turn creates more jobs. Thoughts?
