I want to get out of my credit card debt. I know I need to cut up the cards and tell them "bye", but can I get a personal loan at the bank and consolidate them with a better interest rate?

i paid off a bunch of bills on my credit report and my report hasnt been updated. i have since disputed them and asked that they update them. the first question is if you have paid them off and then dispute them will the creditor not respond because they got their money and second question is it likely that the credit bereau will delete them ( if i dont ask that they be deleted) because the creditor did not respond and if they dont respond should i dispute them again and try to have them deleted?

I have a friend who is living in a duplex and pays $170 a week.. no credit check. My husband and I are trying to find someplace... that does the same, but isn't that much. Anything would help, and please, no shelters.

I am interested in corresponding with someone who doesn't work specifically for one company, and only try to sell their funds. I like to move my money around into specific sectors, according to the news-driven stock market. I need to work with someone who actually works with the stock market, like a hedge fund manager.

All my life i've wanted to work in theatre/film/tv..whether it was acting or doing the production side...however...I some how ended up doing acctg./financial work..and that's all my work experience has been. I've noticed lately that every acctg/fin. job i've had, I've always been miserable and dreaded going to work every day but it paid the bills. I'm at the point right now where I'm having a hard time finding a job in general and if i do it doesn't pay as much as it used to...I haven't given up on the acting/tv/film/theatre dream...but I don't know how to get into that either...and all related jobs to theatre and etc. are low paying/audition/volunteer jobs...which won't pay the bills...so I'm lost and I don't know what to do.

I'm 26 and i currently work at a acctg/financial job that barely pays enough for the rent because they only have me working 12 hours a week I've been applying for related jobs for the mean time but i'm not getting any calls...

so what to do?

I asked my attorney for a photocopy of a single-page letter that was in my file. I received the copy and was billed $38 for the time taken to compose the mundane letter accompanying the requested copy. To me, this is beyond greed; it strikes me as an abuse of billable time. Is it any wonder lawyers are so ill-regarded?
