Health insurance. It's so expensive nowadays that it's probably worth a lot more in the long run than an extra $3 an hour.

Health insurance is a scam. Take your $3/hr and SAVE it for an emergency fund. Save it gradually over time, then buy ONLY super emergency health insurance. (claims > $2000). No reason to have insurance for a $75 doctor visit. Insurance is why prices are so freakin inflated nowadays. $10 for an aspirin? Because of INSURANCE.

It really depends on how many hours you work and how much the insurance costs after the three dollar pay loss. Would it be cheaper to get basic private insurance. Three dollars an hour adds up. It also depends on your health needs. You need to do the math.

Depends of if you are single or family. Health insurance is very very necessary. One surgery can cost $20,000 and up. If you can get health insurance yourself for less than what the difference in salary is, then go for the higher paying job. If not, go with lower salary and get the insurance.

Before you make that decision, perhaps you should check into what it would cost to purchase a health insurance plan for yourself or family. See how much that would cost, and compare to see which way you'd be making more money. Health insurance is a must....so I think this'd be a good way to go.

Health insurance is worth about that, and more if you have the opportunity to cover your family under that polilcy.
The alternative would be to continue to go uninsured and spend the money on something else. Bad idea.
