I have hired a temp using an agency that I have worked with before. The temp does a supposedly wonderful job handling her duties, but I believe she is socially inept. I hear employees telling each other about how the temp reveals more information about herself than is appropriate in a professional setting. This, the third tale I've heard, has her admitting to another employee that she used to be a recovering drug addict, but now she smoked crack on Saturday. That is horrible! Should I can her and hope I could find another temp to do a good job, or should I just advise her to keep her mouth shut, not having to worry about training another person?

I'm looking into franchise opportunities and was wondering if anyone in Yahoo! Answers have any ideas about how good The UPS Store franchise is. Things like how much is needed to start. How long to break even. How profitable it is, etc.

Thanks.

I make approximately $55k annually and still rent because I am afraid that my poor credit will not permit me to purchase a home. I am paying someone elses monthly mortgage in the form of rent and am tired of throwing my money away. I am interested in information on first time homebuyer programs in southern California or programs designed for the credit challenged.
Desparately seeking homeownership.

My tenant always pays late, lies and plays phone tag with me monthly. I have a 1-yr lease with them but I I'm sick of this after 5 mths and want them gone. I think MO law allows me to give 60-days notice to terminate lease. Is this my alternative beside court eviction?

My landlord plans to sell the house i live in, he wants open house but i don't want that - i don't want people coming in off the streets just to take a look inside. Can i refuse that and just show the house by appt only? I do not have a lease with him and i have only been there for 8 months.

Please describe the steps involved, and the costs, using an example.

I have heard they are quite a profitable way to trade and not very risky. Do you agree?

Hi... I'm a senior in high school, and plan to apply for a job as a waitress. Since I'm not old enough to have sufficient experience in another profession, waitressing is the best way for me to earn decent money since I start college next fall.

I have a resume prepared... the rest is fine, I'm just not sure how to correctly word my objective. Something like "to gain experience in customer service" if I were applying at a department store... that's the objective I'm talking about.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
