We have a couple of employees who have the potential to work beyond what they show us. My husband, who is their boss, has talked to them several, several times about the same thing and there doesn't seem to be any lasting change. Firing them isn't an option right now, as we are a Christian business and know that if we do fire them they will just take the problem with them to their next job.

What types of consequences would be fair to measure out to them for not listening and not doing what they are told? I know that we can send them home without pay, but I was looking for some other creative consequences as well.

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO FIRE THEM BECAUSE THAT IS NOT ONE OF THE OPTIONS WE HAVE AT THIS TIME.

Thanks for your time and input.

We work in partnership with many public agencies and private sector entities to improve conditions in wildland/urban interfaces and rural areas, and to prevent and fight wildfires.

My CD says the FDIC or federal government will protect up to $100,000 of the funds in my CD should anything happen to the banking institution.. If i have 10 different CD's spread out, each totalling $100,000 would the government protect all 10 which are in separate accounts or would they only cover the 1 CD?

A few employees try to abuse our system. One has been on leave for 26 weeks; another for 30 weeks. Could we, as the employer, have stated at the beginning of leave that after 12 weeks they must pay the entire insurance premium (the employer amount plus their amount)?

I would like to go back to work after having baby. I am looking for a part-time job with a flexible schedule so I don't have to put my son in day care. I worked at a financial institution for almost 5 years when we decided to start a family. In that position I was making almost $13/hour. What is a fair amount to ask for when applying for a entry level, part time position with minimal experience?
