People sometimes get "lazy about their future" because they either cannot decide what do do as a career or because they are afraid of what the future holds. Sometimes they have tried and failed at a particular venture or have encountered office politics.
Despite what is causing this lazy feeling, the fact that you are asking about it means that you have some concern. I would recommend that you try to identify your strenghts and weaknesses. Try to determine what you like to do. Speak with a career counsellor who will be able to guide you on a career path. Remember that not all careers constitute 9-5 jobs.
There are careers in music, sports, entertainment etc. Just do something that you enjoy. You can also be an entrepreneur and start your own home business.
