why is Uncle Sam penalizing ME for what my employer decides to do? Why should I have to pay a SINGLE CENT more in taxes whether I get paid every two weeks, or every year? Is the government so dumb as to think that what I get paid on a bi-weekly check is actually what I make every week? in other words if I make $500 a week and I get a check for $1,000 bi-weekly, Does the taxman think I am being paid $1,000 a week?!!!

For personal reasons i am trying to ascertain if the E.U. passed legislation prohibiting the implementation of 12 hour shifts in companies where it was not already the practice. Some people I know are of the opinion that this is the case and that legislation was brought into force approximately three years ago.
I would be grateful if someone could tell me if this legislation exists or not.

Does she make more money If I pay full price or something? Can I trust her advice? The house is for $69,900 (1st home) How much would closing costs be??? My rate is 6.375% Who can I trust and how can I cut down the closing costs?????

I know someone wealthy who purchased a Harley Fatboy. He (Joseph) paid cash for the bike, I did some customizing for him and then he decided that he did'nt really want it. He sold me the bike for $21,000, I gave him $6000 down and we signed a 4 year payment contract which he drew up himself. End of november of 2005, I garaged the bike for winter (california) at my friends house where i was living. In mid January, I received a call from my friend stating that Joseph had just taken the Harley from the garage and that I was to call him. Joe stated he took the bike due to no insurance. It was covered under the homeowners policy where I lived but I went and got a years coverage anyway to get my bike back. Then he stated that I was behind on payments. He rechecked his records and he was wrong. Then Joe stated that he wanted the bike just paid in full, that he was going thru divorce and just tired of carrying the loan. He won't give me the bike, it's valued at $35,000 now. Help

All I want from this job is a job and nothing more. All I want from my boss is a boss, a good boss, and not a friend or buddy. She insists on being friends and tells me all the time that she and I are friends outside of work, but that she's the boss from 9 to 5. What should I do with her? I don't want to be her friend.

I am making a bid on my 1st home tomorrow. Should I bid asking price? Also, would it be ok to ask the seller to pay the closing costs? And can I also request things like a new stove? Or would that just sound too pushy? I am pre approved and would just like to get the best deal I can and not be taken advantage of since this is my 1st home purchase. I am bidding tomorrow with my real estate agent. ANY ADVICE is GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks : )~
