NYC is a big place.
If you mean Manhattan in great neighborhood, I would say over 100,000. If you like Queens, The Bronx, Brooklyn, or Staten Island you can get by on a lot less.

In Manhattan? Alot. Some of the smallest apartments in the city would be at least half a million if not a million.

depends on how much your other bills are, but I hear you should expect at least $2000 a month for a small apartment, often much more than that!
