You should probably look for another job because if you can't speak up and are too shy in class, you're probably not going to be very good at directing training for people to use the phones. I hate to be blunt, but that's what immediately comes to mind.

If you really like that job and you think you would enjoy doing it, then you should stay. As for your learning disability, the training you are undergoing right now is a sort of test whether you really won't be able to overcome your learning disability. Make the most of the training period. I think the training has a part wherein you will know exactly what to do if someone asks you a question.
Good luck!

Paycheck aside, you're also describing the environment you're in right now is more stressful that is comfortable for you. And it will only get worse when you have to work with clients and answer questions that you may not know the answers to.
I think it would be better (in the long term) to find another job possibility, which doesn't necessarily mean a lesser pay check, but it could mean a higher level of satisfaction on your part and less stress.

Keep the job, this is something that u need to get deal with. I am sure this would be hard to do but maybe voice concerns to your boss about these feelings. Then u will have support and if they dont show any concern at least u know that maybe its not for you. But (cliche, i know!) u will have the problem for ever if u dont over some it now. If u quit u will resent yourself and job, and always compare ur check to what u could me making

This is a challenge for you to stay on at your job and don't give in already thinking you're not good enough. You've got the experience in the job and all you have to do is learn how to relax in front of a crowd. Just be yourself and everything will work out! Don't quite your job!

First of all, ask questions. Thats what your training is for! If you don't ask questions, you won't do good in your job, and you WILL get fired. If you really don't feel confident, then search elsewhere for a job but don't quit your current job until your hired with a new job. That way, you won't be unemployed while waiting to find a new job. Who knows, maybe you will like your current job afterall!

Sounds like you need a challenge, what better way then to prove to yourself you can do this job. You may have a low self esteem and you may have social anxiety disorder. Go see a physciatrist and get some help for this. With treatment, you probably will be the best employee they have. Good Luck...

You should not be doing something that does not suit you. If you have learning disability, you should get help. As to the job, I would approach your supervisor and explain to him/her of your persnal situation and try to reach an agreement to do something different or get some more training. I personally feel that you should get another job but you should also get expert help to solve your personal disablity

Are there supervisors or other trainers available that you can ask for additional assistance?
I'd hate to see ya quit if you like the job. Someone might be able to help you more if they know you have a learning disability.

Unless you are ready to grab yourself by the balls and deal with this problem, then quit. It doesn't pay to be 'shy,' you must be assertive, you can even work your shyness into a potent tool - - the main thing is within, you must believe in yourself. You must have faith in yourself. You must be confident. Like the Nike Commercial - - - just DO it. Slap yourself and be the Tiger within. Peace.
