What advertising models will prevail? Is Yahoo! going to become a large media company (think TV, Hollywood type programming), will Google be the search king, and will MSN still "try harder"? Who's advertising engines / products will be industry leaders? Does Google look to take that piece of the pie? How big will video be? When's the convergence begin, and the courting end, between TV and the Internet? Will MSN, Yahoo and Google still be king then, or will an IAC (not!) or a News Corp. play a larger role? Will Yahoo partner with another Media Giant?

If I needed fashion advice on high end designers, wanted to plan a weekend trip to London, felt like discussing Bvlgari jewlery, or advice on hiring a housecleaner I can trust. Where would I go, out of curiosity?

A question for all of you advisers & planners out there...

Should a 24 year old couple save money in a retirement account (after normal 401k contributions) like a Roth IRA or use that money to invest in a safe money market account to get to the 3-6 month level of savings financial professionals say you need in case of an emergency. One other thing to note is that this couple has principal currently sitting in Roths > 5 years, so money can be withdrawn from the Roths tax & penalty-free in case of an emergency.

I may be answering my own question, but I wanted to get other perspectives on this issue.

I had a medical bill go into collections that I didnt know about. I never received a bill, nothing! I found out about it cause I looked at my credit report. I paid the bill off a few weeks ago (as soon as I found out) they said it will come off my credit report within 30-45 days. What can I do about that? Will it really come off my credit report?

I have a job interview next week as a conveyancing secretary. I have lots of secretarial experience, but don't really know what I would be doing as a conveyancing secretary. I would like to go into the interview and sound as though I know a little bit. Any advice?

I will be getting some stocks from a trust that was created for me. When I get these stocks, I want to get as far away from the trustee as possible. I've thought seriously about just having the stocks transferred into my name (the trustee would charge 7 cents a share to sell them) and then selling them myself at something like TD Ameritrade. It's my understanding that it's a flat $9 per trade to do that. But I don't know if you have to pay a fee to open the account to begin with, or if there are hidden fees. I do not need a broker! I know what stocks I'm selling, so I don't need advice about that.

In general, what do I need to know about selling my stocks online? Do they sell for what they're selling for if a broker sold them? Do I just send a sell order and they're automatically sold, or do I have to wait for someone to buy them? Thanks
