I have 3 week breaks at christmas and easter, and i finish uni in June. Where would hire me for some full-time work during my holidays?
I've tried m&s and tesco...no luck

tutoring is a great idea.
You could teach a class through your cummunity education...if you can teach others something, like organization at college, how to survive college, what to expect at college.
An at home business is one way of making money. However, unless you are willing to sacrifice friendships for cash, it usually doesnt make much.
Babysitting is also a great idea. Especially if you can get one or two more friends involved and have a shopping day for parents. SO they can drop off the kids and you will have helpers. You will have to split the profit, but you can make alot.
You could do that a couple times before Christmas, you could do it on New Years Eve. YOu could do a couple on your Easter Break as well.

Retail stores are always looking for more help during those periods.
On a covering letter, I'd state exactly what you are looking for (F/T for holidays and summer).
Employers appreciate it when candidates are up front and clear about expectations.

Possibly Argos,a garden centre or one of the DIY stores?? Failing that, McDonalds or one ot the other fast-food places may do.

Try in local pub for bar work, or go to a temping agency, especially for waiting staff, they always need them around xmas time, u can pick and choose when u work too.
