Since you are on this site and your spelling seems OK, you have basic computer skills. Besides retail, food service, and adult entertainment, there are other options for you to try Why not try being a receptionist or a secretary? Try starting with a temporary agency if you have problems finding an office job at first. Some of the agencies will give you some quick and easy training on MS Office. And some places you can actually work your way up a bit. Call center jobs could also be a good place to start.
Also, check your city, county, state and federal agencies for employment. If you can read and comprehend and do basic math well enough to pass a civil service exam, you got a job. I work for State government and I have met a lot of people that did not choose college.
In my opinion, do not completely rule out going to college down the road. You can earn a lot more money and have more job security with an education, even an Associates degree helps.

Stop thinking of yourself as "uneducated" and start focusing on the skills you have to offer. Think about the things you enjoy doing--not just work, but hobbies as well. What is it that engages you in such a way that time seems to fly by? Break that down into the skills you use to do the things you enjoy. Then look for careers that utilize those skills. Check the Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook for possible careers:

Good luck!

Education means nothing as long as you are willing to learn. I think I have the best career...it is a home business in the health and wellness industry and really boils down to story telling. I tell people what this product has done for me and you would be surprised at how many people are looking for exactly what I was looking for. In just a few short months, it built into a very good income and I learn as I go. I teach others to do the same.

You're not giving enough info. You say career not job so I'm assuming you're looking for something that you can do for the rest of your life
When you say uneducation do you mean no college, no high school or illiteracy?
Civil service is a good career choice, work for the gov't, at the post office, be a train conductor etc...there's alot of civil service jobs that don't require high level of education and pay decently and have great benefits, paid holidays, pensions, etc...alot of times they seem better than alot of jobs you get coming out of college.

I think your best choice is to try and get some kind of education and get by with waitressing while you do that. A lot of schools will give you state funding to go to school for free if you are eligible. A community trade school could get you educated in a job that's needed and competitive rather quickly. You'll be glad you did it even if it's hard for a while...because you'll be making more once you finish. Good luck!

Clearly, you are literate;you can spell and type. Both skills which are not in evidence with some in here who claim to be either in college or graduates from same...Cable companies and other telemarketing outlets hire LOTS of people. Cell Phone companies and BIG box outlets(Wally World/Home Cheapo)...hospitals(which IF affliated with local colleges often offer FREE college to you and your children as well as instant benefits)schools of all sorts and Large nursing homes hire all sorts of people to do a multitude of things...do not discount fast food as managers earn more than many might think and maturity often gets you a job in management just cause...

Anything that can allow training and movement.
I'm assuming UNEDUCATED means highschool diploma or drop out NOT NO EDUCATION AT ALL.....
McDonald's, entry level in a big company (mail room), waitress/hostess, bartender, coatcheck girl in club, cigarette girl in a club, etc, etc. There are a lot of possibilities and if she's smart, she'LL save up and take night courses at the local community college - SHE CAN AFFORD $300 A SEMEMSTER FOR ONE CLASS!!!!!!!!!! IF IT WILL GET HER A RAISE!!!!!!!

There are lots of educated people who are not working or working at jobs that have NOTHING to do with their educational expertise....
You are skilled on the internet, so if you're willing to learn how to start, build and successfully run a profitable internet biz, that would be the 'career' I'd suggest....
JOBS are shaky now... so if you can put your good internet skills to work for you from home and be consistent, success would be yours after diligent effort as is required either for a job or a business.
I just wrote a 360 blog post on a brand new free ebook on why most people fail at businesses online but you can access it directly here:
http://www.optinhomebusiness.com/internet-home-business-free-ebook.html
As you look at career opportunities, it may be good to have a read ..... ;-)
BEST of luck as you look at and evaluate your alternatives and remember that you are the only one who determines your success!
