Hi Q,
I really respect you for wanting a job at the age of 14!..I am 30, and I got my first job at the age of 14, and it really turned me into a hard-working Independant Woman..I now have 3 jobs, and I can work this hard because I learned early about how to take care of myself....
I dont know how valid those websites are that these people have given you here..If any website asks for money Before you start work--then they are probably scams..
I have a good idea for you: my very first job, when I was 14, was a job in the Dry Cleaners"..Even though it was not legal to hire 14 year olds, they hired me anyway, and paid me "under the table"--which is when a company gives you cash each week, instead of a check. (this is so they dont have to report you to the government)...I made $80 a week, and that is good money for a 14 year old...
This is what you do: walk around the stores in your neighborhood, and see if anyone is "hiring". Thats how you get a job. You have to put on put on some clean clothes, and literally WALK around from store to store and ask them if they are hiring...Go to a Dry Cleaners, and ask if say: I'm looking for a job, do you need some extra help?"...I worked at the fron desk and got people's clothes when they came to pick up, I worked the cash register, and I swept the front area before I went home...It was lots of fun, especially working that big machine that all the clothes are attached to...
Be nice, friendly, and SMILE.. People love to hire people who smile alot. Be on time, never complain, and say Thank You when they hire you.
But, a job is Not going to come to you--you have to go to IT...
Peace

Fast food it about all a 14 year old is gonna find. And even some of those won't hire kids that age. U could go into business for yourself tho. There are two kids down the road from me who collect up junk and sell it on the ebay. One kid is 15 and the other is 16, but any age could do it. They make quite a bit of money doin it too.
