He had gotten a 300,000 offer to settle but his attorney turned it down because he thought they could get more. And I did find out that my daughter is considered next of kin. Guess I will need an attorney. Because I feel why should the company benifit from his death and not my daughter. does anyone know for sure?

he was on workmans comp due to an injury offshore. He had 2 surgeries on his knee and they were in the middle of a settlement. I called his attorney to see if my daughter can finish the settlement and he told me his death was not caused by the injury...No! Any way of knowing cause the attorney won't talk to me.

I thought there was a law passed that prohibited this practice, but I found a Service Station that is charging two different prices, one for cash and one for credit. I saw their price on the sign and stopped, then when I pressed credit, the price went up 6 cents per gal. Needless to say I was mad and I just left without filling up.
