How do I jobshadow an EMT?

I'm interested in becoming an EMT, who would I call to "jobshadow" for a day? I live in the Twin Cities, MN.

It's easier to do if you sign up for the training because then it's required to gain some experience.

Contact a local instructor and ask them which facilities allow this. You will need to agree to some provisions to be eligible (safety, etiquette). You would have a better experience if you had some training to start with. Medical calls are not safe environments and it is possible to be severely injured.
