I have been overloaded with work for the past four months. I've lost perspective of things and I have poured my heart out to my subordinates and co-workers. Therefore, I feel a bit powerless and insecure at times. I need advice on how I can overcome this and become the more respected manager I once was. I feel overwhelmed with work and unappreciated, I also have a lot of pressure to perform as well as I always have and I am so tired I am losing the energies that keep me from giving up. After death, how long would it take to recieve funds split 4 ways equally? We have to pay various expenses from the life ins. There is no contesting, but am I correct in assuming the life ins. pays out rapidly, while the estate will pay outstanding debts, sell assets, divide, etc?

I won an item at a charity fundraiser (silent auction). I went up to pick up the item and the 'donator' wanted to charge me sales tax on the retail price of the item. The taxes are almost the same as the price I won the auction. Is this normal?
