I like Geico, but it seems expensive. Can you recommend other good companies for auto?

State farm..we switched.


.i pay 30M for the same coverage i had with geico..and i was paying over 100/M with them! there a rip off..and not much help when it comes to accidents..(i got backed into..and like 800 bucks in damage but i only got 300!)

It depends in what state and city you live in that determines your rates. Ifyou live in a high crime area, your rates will be higher. If you live in the country, your rates will be lower. You have more chance of getting your car stolen in a city then in the country. In a whole, since I have lived in 46 states in the last 6 years, I have found that Farmers Insurance has the least expensive rates. Also, Allstate and American Family have good rates. I live in Las Vegas which is a high place for insurance. Geico, I have found with the various cars I have owned from 4x4 to Sports cars that Farmers is generally cheaper. If you have a clean driving record they usually are more expensive. If you have a bad record they are a little cheaper,

I think that it depends on your driving record they can quote you a price..and that can vary with diffrent companies
