Anytime you're considering making a career change, you want to speak with people that are in the line of work you are aspiring to do. You want to ask them questions like:
What first made you interested in this career path?
What are some educational or job experience requirements to enter this field?
What do you like about this career?
What don't you like about this career?
Another good source is to go to your local library and do a search on the career your aspiring for. The US Department of Employment creates these career booklets that you can usually check out from the library. They are around 30-40 pages and will go over the average salary, expected career growth and they will have some testimonials from people in the field. The booklets will also give you some additional ideas to make a career change.

The first thing you gotta do is to decide which career your going to pursue and ask yourself why is it for the money or for the joy? If your doing it for the money then forget it bc its short term but if your doing it for a love of the job then start calling the people that work in your career that your trying to pursue and ask them all the questions you need to ask. Good luck.

It depends what you want to change your career to. You should first look into what qualifications you need to start a career in the new field, and find out if you need to go back to school or not.

First I would look at my current financial status and my past work. Then figure out what you love to do and go from there.
