My sister and I started an online business about 2 months ago, we tried very very hard to finish the website by ourselves and now we are trying to advertise it. However, we got an email said that our website will "never" make the ranking....it's so discouraging....!

can someone give me some suggestions on how, where, to advertising my website?

Or can someone give me some opinions on my website so we can improve and become better.

We appreciate your opinion and your answers.

Thank you.

I am beginning a website to be the base for a health and fitness company. I have certifications as a personal trainer and nutritionist, and have worked as a public speaker and instructor. I thought a website would be a good venue to combine these skills. I recieved the website name that I wanted and assumed that I could not get that name if it were already trademarked. A friend of mine says that I am mistaken. Before I sink a lot of cash into promotion and other things, I would like to know that I won't be sued a year or two down the road.

I JUST had a mortgage loan modification to pull my house out of foreclosure, and the last three month's payments have been on time, or at least before the 16th of the month. I can't pay my July payment until August 11th, and I will be sending my August payment on September 8th. I will be able to catch up after that. Will this be acceptable to my mortgage company, or will they immediately throw me back into foreclosure?

I got a personal loan to pay off my credit cards back in October of 2005. Everything seem to go fine with all of my cards except my Bank of America card. First Commonwealth Bank (my lendor) sent the check and it was processed. A week later Bank of America sends me a letter saying there wasn't enough funds in the checking account the check came from. I thought this was weird since this came from First Commonwealth's account. Anyway the bank manager helped me with the situation and found out that it was Bank of America's fault. The situation seemed resolved in May. Then a week later Bank of America sends me another letter saying the same thing as before. Now here I am with the same situation I was in 10 months ago. First Commonwealth did an investigation on their side of the transaction and concluded that the money was processed and left their account back in October 2005. It is Bank of America's fault, but they are giving me the "run-around." What should be my next action?

I am working for my nephew who just opened his own mortgage company. He is great at marketing the traditional ways like networking with the realtors, builders and people in the community through chamber of commerce, etc......I am looking for any ideas you may have used to attract the attention of potential clients in new and exciting ways.....something no one else around here is doing. Any ideas?

The reason I ask this question is, a co-worker and I were talking yesterday and we both agreed that we are ashamed to admit to people what we do for a living. Anyone else in the same boat? I find that anytime I meet someone new or run into an old classmate I'm embarrassed.

It doesn't really matter what you do, but are you proud to say you do it?

She is not fat. But her priorities are so different from mine. She is really driving me crazy. And the bets part is that everyday she talks about the Crabs she is going to buy and eat on the weekend, every weekend. She is a temporary employee. And has a boyfriend and a son. She lives in a one bedroom apt and they all sleep in the same room. HELP ME!!! Am I a snob or is she that diferent from me?

I work for a large company. Most of the employees are on payroll but some of the lower-pay employees like Admin Assistants (me), are hourly and have to clock in and out. We had a fire in the building Monday and weren't able to work half of Monday or all of Tuesday. I came by the building over and over trying to see if I could work, and we weren't cleared to enter yet.
Now the rumor is that salaried employees are going to get paid, and hourly ones are not. Is this legal? is it discrimination?

I'm just wondering what should I claim for allowances on my W-4 so that I don't get screwed in the end on my taxes? I don't want to end up paying in. The way I set it up today I put Married- Zero allowances- with $10 extra taken out of federal and $5 extra taken out of State. I can easily change it and would appreciate anyone's input on what's the best way to go about this. Thanks!

My husband and I have a daughter and we'd like to adopt a child from another country. We're both social service workers and our income is "modest." I've been researching this and have realized the cost is going to be $25,000.00--very cost-prohibitive. Any ideas how i might raise some money--we'll have to take a loan out for sure, but it would be prudent to not take another huge loan out in addition to our mortgage. My job doesn't offer any assistance & my mom, who is widowed, is on a limited income. I wish we knew of attorneys who wouldn't try to profit from this. My husband is a little anxiuous about the expenses...wish i were friends w/angeline joliet (ha! ha!). Give me some creative (and legal ) ways to defray the colossal expenses. Attorneys welcome to respond!!!

To pay the rent you have to deposit cash. You fill out 2 little pieces of paper, and they stamp them both and give you one back. Well, the last few times I was in a hurry and only filled out 1. Now they are saying I didn't pay, and I can't prove. However I KNOW i paid it. They said its not on the log. I know I paid on July 6th in the drive thru window. Can I have them pull the camera footage from that day? Should I? Do they even have cameras there?

If I wanted to get my start-up clothing line in the hands of a decent licensing agency for widespread distribution, who would you recommend?
