I want to borrow about $30k-$40k to buy a barbershop that is for sale. The barbershop is already making money, the owner is just retiring.

I am not a barber nor have i ever owned a business before. My only experience is renting out a home that I own. Which is similiar to a barbershop, which has stations and stylists pay per week/month to rent out the stations. I would be an absentee owner.

My question is...What are the chances a lender would loan me the money? Also where is a good place to start?

Has anyone else been charge by a credit card company something you did not charge.?

We just got a summons..For something we have never heard of,, They say we owed them 5,351.24... we only have two active credit cards and one has a balance and is not them..They say they send notices but thats b.s.. we have never received or heard about this til now..We have good credit own all of cars try to pay cash when ever possible.. have been in our home for close to 10yr. I don't understand..So now I guess we have to go to court..Has anyone else gone through this.. what do you suggest? My husband is the only one that works...We know for a fact these are not our charges.

How to use knowledge of technical analysis? How to market it?

I am expert in wave theory which is used to know the future of stock market. I am practicing this for many years. Now I can perfectly tell where stock market will go in future - short/ medium / long term (not on daily basis). But I don't have enough money to get benefit from it. What should I do to take advantage of my knowledge?

I was just wondering what's something you would buy off line instead of going to the store?

For example things like gift baskets for any occasions, welcome home baby baskets, and etc. Things that can be made for people so they won't have to go to the store and buy all the items themselves

One in the bush (that's the negative for her, remote, lonely, already done it) where she knows people (+) and it'll be a stable job (+)

or

One in a beautiful tourist town (+) that's her dream town (+) but it's not certain if its a stable position (negative) and she needs to work at the same job for a while (big negative).

When is the best time to send in a resume?

When there is a deadline for sending in a resume, do you stand a better chance of being noticed/remembered by sending the resume in as soon as possible, a bit before the deadline or right near the deadline? Setting aside who is best qualified for the job, I heard you stand a better chance of being noticed if you send in the resume closer to the deadline. Don't know if others heard the same. Just wanted to read others' opinions/experiences.

money gram?

I was sent two money grams for work that I had done on the internet. I deposited them in the bank,Waited a week and heard nothing and paid bills. Today the bank called and the money grams are no good. Its almost 2000, Am I going to have to pay the bank the money back?
I have no way of coming up with the money. On friday husbands check is direct deposited will they freeze it and keep it?
What should I do? If you work on the internet how do you get paid? I know they can forge cashiers checks and money orders now money grams also?

Do i have to incorporate my sml biz or not?

I incorporated my small business in Florida a few years ago. I live in California now. I want to re start the business. Do i have to incorporate in CA just like i did in FL? Medical Transcriber?

I am interested in taking up a course to become a medical transcriber. Does anyone with experiance in this feild have any suggestions for online trainging?
