I have a credit score of 750 but have limited credit history. i have a $500 limit on my new Cap1 card.
I'm trying to build my credit history and the company told me that they dont report the credit limit. What should i do? Should I make purchases totally less than 150 and pay off the bill each month or should i max out the card at $450 and pay it off the same month so that the report looks like that is my limit?? Any suggestions as i want to build a very nice credit history so i can get a cash back rewards card in 6-12 months from now.

I'm VERY responsible about my money and will pay off the credit card IN FULL EVERY month.

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

I work full time for a real estate company in CA. I make 10.50 an hour doing administrative duties. I make okay money for being right out of high school. I graduated last year. However, I need to make more. I just recieved a raise of .50 cents so I won't be asking for one any time soon. I'm thinking about getting a little job after work and for on the weekends. How much money should i be asking for an hour? I dont even know what CA's min wage is. It's a little retail shopping store- the kind that sells girls clothes. I'm very skilled for the position of sales associate with a background in retail and customer service of 2 years. What should i ask for? Thanks.

I have worked my butt off for Wal-Mart and have had an almost perfect attendance record for that place for over 3 years. I've applied for dozens of jobs and been rejected every time. I and every single one of my co-workers I work with overnight hate that store and only work there for the mere fact that we are trying to find better work. The place has no soul and no opportunities whatsoever. It hires some of the most incompetent and unreliable people possible. What should I do to escape Wal-Mart? Looking for sound advice. Thanks!

I filed bankruptcy (here in IL) and was granted my discharge right after christmas of 05- I have tried to apply for a credit card but got denied. How do I start to rebuild my credit if no one will give me credit? Oh, and I refuse to do one of those prepaid cards. That just makes no sense to me. I will not pay someone to give me my own money and list it as a "credit line." Any suggestions? Serious answers only please.

I have scheduled a oversea vacation about 3 weeks in Oct. with my current employer. But last week I suddenly got a call about a previous job application. They moved very fast and today I just got the verbal offer from them. But now I am worrying about when to tell the new employer about my vacation? It's really a short period to Oct. I already booked the flight ticket. I don't want to create more obstacles for moving the offer forward. But I still want behave professionally and let the new employer agree to it as early as possible.
