I am in limbo a bit with my manager at work and she is not talking to me. Is it proffessional for her to not speak to me just because I got promoted? I feel sick about having to work all day with her now because I just want to have a good day and not have to tippie toe around.

A payment of Rs.7000/- was made in favor of my SBI credit card in december '05 by one of my friend. Till date the payment has not been reflected as paid to my card. I am supposed to have paid more than what I am supposed to. The cheque was duly debitted from my friend's account in Hyderabad UTI Bank. On the contrary SBI claims that they have not received the amount but in the bank certificate and the statement the payment shows the cheque as having been accepted. There was an error of putting in an extra zero, in the last four digits of the credit card number. Despite repeated sending in of couriers and faxes to the SBI Credit Cards division in Gurgaon and Chennai the response is nil and bills keep coming in. The credit cards has also been blocked from further use. Do advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been given share options by my employer, but I don't have a certificate. What I have is a paper contract, and I don't know how I go about selling them. Do I have to go through my employer, as I would rather not involve them if possible.
I have waited the two years that we were told we had to wait before being allowed to sell them.

I've been on a SERIOUS job search, and I keep getting solicitations for financial adviser positions. What turns me off to it is that it sounds like a sales job. When they start saying things like "You can make $100K your first year!" it makes me leery. Can anyone give me some insight on this career without sounding like a commercial?

Can you help clearify what the maximum lifetime exclusion on home salemeans?
Does it mean a $500,000 maximum exclusion each time there home

Hi,
I worked as a helicopter mechanic for 5 years in the Royal Navy and joined Barr Construction in 2002 working as a parts advisor dealing with small/large plant,cars,lorries and cranes. I was promoted to supervisor in 04 and constantly strive to improve my experiences and knowledge. I am currently working 55 hours a week, So Im no stranger to hard work and I have first aid/fire fighting and other relevant training to offer!

I owned a business (subchapter S) and filed for banruptcy a couple of years ago. I recently received a notice regarding Social Security withholding (no W3 filed for last yr. in business) stating that I could be liable for a penalty of $11K. Am I personally responsible for this?
