(I apologize if I seem insensitive to the slavery issue, but I don't think that there should be any divisions between races. In my opinion, affirmative action just perpetuates the divisions between the races. I don't think that race should matter. I know that slavery was very bad, but unless someone was specifically a slave--not his ancestors, but him!--then I don't think that people should owe him anything. I believe that people should not be punished or rewarded for what their ancestors did. I just want to make sure that you don't think I am racist or such because I am certainly not.
