I am in limbo a bit with my manager at work and she is not talking to me. Is it proffessional for her to not speak to me just because I got promoted? I feel sick about having to work all day with her now because I just want to have a good day and not have to tippie toe around.

If you earned a promotion and she is not talking to you she must be jealous. Yes, it is unprofessional. If you give her time she will adjust and come around. Just continue to be yourself. Her behavior does not dictate yours. Life is too short to spend it tiptoeing around.

I'd get right in her face and tell her to shape up or you'll take it higher.
She's causing a hostile environment.
