why would a company who is owed money get someone from another country to cash check and wire money to them?

this is a legitamate company and the checking account has been verified to be real.

ok, 2 out of 3 did not understand my ???, this is a legitimate company AND the checking account has been verified to be a real account and the funds are available.

It could be they are not allowed by law to deal with the country that owes them money

Everyone gets this email....Mine said Nigeria....they change the names...they are trying to get bank account numbers...

They wouldn't. It's a well-known spam email chain.
