I am a wife of a husband with a Post Polio, so he cannot work no more. And I have custody of my grandson of 51/2 years old. And I love crafting and would like to make a small home based business out of what I love to do. Would like some adivse on how to get started. I don't want to get rich, just want to be able to make enough money to be comfortable. I am 51 years old and just want to be home with my grandson so I will be able to send him to school and be able to be involved in his school programs, as well as make alittle more money on the side. Thanks for any help that could be given

I owe about $20,000 in credit card debt that is all in collections for over a year and a half... I recently was given enough money to pay it all off, but should i negotiate the amounts that i owe now, or just pay it off with the interest they've charged? I want my credit scores to go up rapidly so i can purchase a house in the next year. My score is in the LOW 500!!! Any advice would be great!

You know, a university educated person that had alot of jobs but stayed at one no longer than 2.5 years. Not many employers want to take the risk. And I completely understand why. But a man's gotta eat too. They really sholdn't be condemned to working fast food the rest of their life. It's not like they are a felon. And I am not ripping on felons because I believe they too deserve second chances after they have been rehabliltated. Anyways, do you have any constructive tips or helpful hints? Besides going into the military. Haha.

My friend pays a monthly health insurance premium as a payroll deduction. He is considering changing employment and had been told that by his employer that the last day he works is the last day he's covered. My understanding is that when you pay your monthly premium you pay for a month of insurance. So is what they told him legal?
