How involved, how big do you want to get? If you plan to operate alone, learn small home repairs, decking, concrete walks, painting, etc., you may want to avoid those that need County or City Permits. You won't need employees and that is worth a great deal, avoids lots of headaches.
You can start this way, someday you may become tycoon. Don't laugh, many tycoons started that way. Nothing is easy. If it was, everybody would be doing it.
