Is it okey to keep registered even if your Financial year has not commenced yet? I am getting worried at the moment for I am still busy gathering some assets and looking for a property to rent. I might be starting in at least 6 months time from this date. Will it make any differences if you set it to a dormant company. Your professional answer to this will be highly appreciated...

I am behind and tried to make arrangements with the finance company. They said all I can do is refinance adding $11,0000.00 to my balance and increasing my payment 40.00 a month and adding 3 years to the pay off or pay the entire past due amount. They say this is becauce I was behind last year due to unemployment. I can pay half the past due amount this month and the rest next month. but they said they are refusing the partial payment.

Resist the temptation to fill the pockets of these inefficient, overmarketed retail shops. Here is what you are doing when you spend on non-essentials, specially shoes, jewelry and clothes.
1. You are sending jobs abroad
2. You are paying after-tax dollars, so the $30 shirt actually costs you $40.
3. You are paying retail dollar---and paying way over what the stuff is worth. At least wait for a "real" sale, not the fake "50% off". Believe me, it is 50% off because there were no suckers at full price, so don't be a sucker at 50%
4. You are overpaying for branded goods---putting money in the pockets of already filthy rich sports jocks and fake-everything celebrities.
5. You are taking money from your family---maybe your children or your spouse
6. Feel like eating out and paying $40 for a bottle of wine that should cost you only $10? Join a cooking group, or go to a joint that lets you carry your own booze.

Serious answers please .

Oregon increases their minimum wage by 25 cents every year. Now Oregon's minimum wage is $7.50. Oregon is nation wide second highest minimum wage.
How a State decides to raise mimum wage, based on what?
What are the financial and economical consequences for setting minimum wage so high?
What it does to the productive labor force?
What impact it has on the small business owners?
High minimum wage, does it damage or create more jobs considering the state's unemployment rates?

Thanks in advance.

Sites like Panda Research have you signing up for things that charge you monthly, with penalty fees for cancelling. Is there anything that will just pay for taking surveys?

This is just an example of one of the many annoying phone calls I get every day. BTW, I'm a receptionist/customer service representative for a BBQ grill manufacturer.
Me: Thank you for calling blahblahblah. How may I help you?
customer: Hello?
Me: *pause* Thank you for calling blahblahblah. How may I help you?
customer: Um, hello?
Me: Thank you for calling blahblahblah. How may I help you?
c: Uh, I bought a grill? *silence*
Me: OoooK, how can I help you?
c: At Lowe's?
Me: *sigh* Yes, HOW.CAN.I.HELP.YOU?
c: Do you know what I'm talking about?
Me: Yes. How can I help you?
c: *laughing* Oh, YOU can help me? Oh! *chuckle chuckle laugh snort*
Me: YES!! howcanihelpyou?!?!?!?!
c: My grill is not working.
Me: OK which grill did you purchase?
c: I don't know.
Me: Did you purchase a propane gas grill, a vertical gas smoker, or a charcoal grill?
c: Uh, I don't know.
Me: *sigh* Does it use gas or charcoal?
c: Uh it has a tank on it. I guess it's gas.
