Post Holder - someone who holds a job within a company - it's a tarted up name for employee.

When companies are advertising a particular job, they might say 'We are looking for someone to fill the post/job of........'

Fairly simple one this - the "Post Holder" is the person that holds a post or position within an organisation.

For Example: The Prime Minister of Great Britain is a post in Her Majesty's Government and at present the Post Holder is Tony Blair, however the post has been held by others including Margaret Thatcher.
