Kind of a stupid question to ask, but you know how commercials say "If you call right now. . ." or "If you call within the next five minutes we'll take off one payment for your order!" Well, can they really tell if you called while the commercial was airing.

I have a 2001 series $1.00 bill....and on the front where the serial numbers are it starts with A then it gives the serial number but it dosen't end with a letter it ends with a green star...I have never seen one like this before and i have looked at many 2001 series.. Is this normal or is it a misprint? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Here's my situation:

i'm Asian, female, 20 years old, with an MBA. I'm a Senior Consultant at D&T. My total annual compensation is $88,000.00 (that's salary + bonuses + investment package). I think I should be paid more than that. Maybe $10K more. I really feel some companies out there are trying to rip off females and minorities, and especially if you're both. Am I being underpaid? The house that we like, which is 1,100 sq feet on 7250 lot, costs $550-$600K. I know it kind of over price for that property but it locates in a good neighborhood. We could afford a down payment. However, we are afraid that we the housing bubble will burst. Should I just wait a little bit longer a few year more or jump in right now. We live fugally and have a lot of saving each month. My wife and I having about 170K in Saving. $50,000 in stocks and $120K in cash. Our gross combine monthly income is about $9000. Currently our monthly rent is $1200 for a two bedroom apartment. This is one of the biggest investment of my life and I don't want to make a mistake.

i want to be an entrepreneur or should i say i am going to be one. well i plan on starting my own nite club, bar restaurant, hotel, and maybe insurance company.
