I'm searching for building space, and don't know if laser tag is retail or what?

let me put this another way.

I'm looking for building space for my Laser Tag Business venture but am curious to what type of business it would be considered. Obviously it isn't industrial. I'm not selling products, so its not a shopping center.

I am selling a service however, so does that still make it retail?

Well, I just finished my course in principles of business. According to my book there are really two types of selling. Retail and industrial. Retail is stated as selling a consumer a product for the buyer's personal or household use. Industrial is defined as selling products to other businesses for the purpose of manufacturing other products for resale. So yours seems to be a retail, and in more detail it is a service that you are offering, not a good. Sorry i couldnt be more detailed.

I think you are confusion Commercial building classes with business entity classifications.

Business Classes
You would a direct B to C organization. (Business to Consumer) IE; Retail

Commercial Building Classes
Here's a few Commercial Building space classifications
1. Light Industrial - more on the manufacturing side.
2. Office Space - "Standard suit and tie offices"
3. Retail - IE: Shopping malls, strip malls, etc.
4. Flex space - Warehouse that can be either industrial or converted to standard offices.

Good Luck,
~Trey
