I am working a really low paying job right now and not getting that many hours. All that is being held out of my check is social security/medicare. Well I be eligible for an earned income credit next tax season?

I have a GREAT invention idea- it's actually an innovation because it would use existing technology in a new and very useful, simple way. Everyone I have told about it says it's a winner. I have an engineering background from college and I know it could work.

My question is what do I do now? Money doesn't grow on trees and the patent attorney I spoke with said it is a long and expensive process- I could pitch it to a company but I would need to protect it first- being that it borrows on other technologies (possible conflicts?) I wouldn't know how to go about it. Any suggestions are appreciated. Can I tell someone and have them run with it for an overide - I just fear they would steal it. Can I patent a process/concept?

I would like to know where to retire where taxes are cheap and there are things to enjoy. The weather should be nice whole year round and there should be an airport hub nearby. It should be a safe place as well.

I am starting a new job as a territory sales manager soon and i have to get a new cell phone. should i save the reciept for tax time? also, i get a stipend of $300 per month that covers gas, any parking fees and anything else i see fit. but if i should go over that amount say in gas a month and have to pay with my own money, should i save those receipts too, so that i can write them off on my taxes? any tips. or hints appreciated.

i am 23, bought my first house at 21 then a second 6 months later. i have since sold that and getting ready to sell my principal residence. i am about $25k in "bad" debt plus a $30k truck. after i sell my house i will pay off ALL debt and only have my truck on my credit. i have a 710 credit score now. should be much better in the comming months. if i put aside $10k from the sale of my house for investing, what should i do?

They told me today, 5 days after the interview, (which lasted 2 hours), that they thought that I had the personality that would fit the company and that my level of comfort made them feel more comfortable.

They also told me the range that I would be offered and where I would park after 1.45 hours of the interview.

I am scared to death, I want this job, so bad.

Why would cuz, throw me a bone and not offer me the job telling me that my personality would fit the company if I didn't, which he did today.

Geeze, I don't know, I am just looking for answers, I'm scared because I want this job, and more, I think I would be perfect for it and I think they think the same thing.

I don't know, maybe, I have a fear of success? Who the H E double hockey sticks knows if I don't....right?

I think I nailed the interview, but I am so ----not confident----. I have terrible interview anxiety and I felt like I was in my own living room with my interviewers.

What say you?

PLEASE ADVISE.........

I've been contacted by a Nigerian Bank Manager who claims that I have inherited money from a dead relative I haven't heard from in awhile. They want to put money into my account and are contacting me persistently. They even called me. They want me to proceed with the arrangement. I think that this must be some kind of scam. I can not find out any info from relatives about my nephew dieing a few years back over in Nigeria. I think that if I were stupid enough to follow through they would then ask for personal info. I know that this would not be the right thing to do. I could contact my lawyer. I think something should be done legally about scam artists if this is what they are doing.

employer owes a great deal of taxes, I know alot about his business, he doesn't put all his income in the bank because he has leins on his business account, I contacted the wage and labor they weren't to concerned. Does anyone know who I could contact to stir the waters up for him. I feel this has to be against the law to some exstent.Thank You for your imput.

Two houses are in the same neighborhood within the same school districts. Both houses are on about 6200 sq ft of land. One house has 3900 sq ft of living space, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, but it has no view and the neighboring houses are close together.
