My niece is 12, and she is extremely mature and responsible. She's been wearing contacts since last year, because she was so sick of her glasses which she's been wearing for 4 years. Anyway her daily disposable contacts are running out, only a week or so then gone. Usually, when she runs out, she just asks my brother (her dad) to buy her more. This time however, when she asked him, he looked sternly at her and said that he's been thinking.. and that she should wait a little bit older until getting the contacts again. My niece is troubled and doesn't know what to do.


If you were her, what would you say to your father to convince him?

I don't know why, but why do us girls only use lotion and guys never use it, and don't have smooth skin?

I as a girl hate guys with dry skin, and my bf right now has very dry skin, and I just try to convince him sooo much to use lotion, and I hesitate to just slather him with it!

What do you think?

For instance, I wanted to try the Clean & Clear Morning Burst line, but it's not targeted for acne or anything. I don't have really bad acne, but I was just wondering if since they're cleaning my face, wouldn't they be helping to prevent acne as well?

I was wondering what kind of face stuff should I use...I was using clean && Clear but it doesnt do much && I am using the European Collection (Red Water) from Walgreens but i was wondering of anyone else had any input on face wash && other products that they use && would recomend.

My cheeks & face are sometimes really red, and I was already planning on trying the Clearasil Ultra daily face wash for acne and dirt and stuff.. Does it also help reduce redness? If it doesn't, what does? Thanks :)

hi i just got my ears pirced two days ago. The pamflet said they would sore for that day and mabey the day after. They are still very sore and hurt to the touch. I havent been touching them except when i clean them 3 times a day. I got them pirced at icing at my local mall, not my first choice, but they are done. Im just wondering if i should see a doctor if the pain persists in the next coupple of days.

I have been using Neutrogena acne face wash for the past 3 months (ish) it seems to be drying my skin. I have combination skin parts oily parts dry. I used to use Proactive but that runs out real quick. What can y'all recommend for combination skin that's not too pricy.

Well on 18th of Jan 2007 our school had a carnival outside, it was cloudy no sun!!! well usually i carry my sunblocks and hat with me n so as this time, but in all that fun i did not wear that hat although a little sunblock, our carnival started at 10am anf finished around 1pm that is afternoon. now i kept unprotected cuz i waz not wearing my hat during these hours that i have just mentioned now please tell me have i got my skin damaged cuz uvB rays were absent but a little UVA rays were present and if so it definitely has speeded up my AGEING PROCESS n please do tell that is there a way 2 STOP AND REVERSE this ageing process and if so please do let me know I am worried like anything!!!! thanku (u can mention websites as well)

I have been using proactiv with great results and I am about out. I was just about to buy some more and I looked up AcneFree, which you can get at Wal-Mart for more than half price. I was reading the label and it says its better than proactiv. It has the same 3 steps as proactiv. Has anyone used these products? Are they the same or is one better than the other. I really want the cheaper one but if its not worth it than I will just stick with Proactiv. What is your opinion about these two products?

I work for a security company and my shift supervisor smells bad every single day. He never washes his uniform, hair or body. One time I came into the office to take a break and it smelled so bad in there I almost got sick. Last night I made a comment that the office smelled bad the day before but it dosen't now. Some one mentioned thats because George is not here. I thought I was the only one who noticed. I don't like to talk about peopel but he needs a long bath.

I see people, who have a certain nose in there 20's, then a skinny nose in there 30's, then the same nose they had in there 20's when they are in there 40's. (with no surgery of course)

What other things can effect the way your nose looks besides surgery?
Can your diet &/or how fat you are effect it?
Do fat people have fat noses?

As I have gotten older I have been noticing that my pores on my cheeks have been getting larger. I use astringent, and clean my face about three times daily, but the pores never seem to shrink up the way I want them to. I am only in my mid twenties but my pores make me look like an old man! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
