My cheeks & face are sometimes really red, and I was already planning on trying the Clearasil Ultra daily face wash for acne and dirt and stuff.. Does it also help reduce redness? If it doesn't, what does? Thanks :)

Use clean and clear for sensitive skin. Ive been using it and it works really good. plus it's affordable. I hope you like it. Do NOT use oxy pads. It will dry your face out and make it even worse.

I just started using neutrogena redness soothing acne wash cream cleanser because i needed something cheaper than proactiv- what i have been using for 2 years. proactiv really does work (i used to think it was the only face wash i could trust) but it just takes so much time and the mall in the town i live in doesn't sell it like most other malls, so i end up having to order it, which is a hassle. back to the neutrogena though- i absolutely love it. i use it 2 times daily, and those small tiny bumps on my cheeks have gone away almost completely (not completely just yet because i have only been using it for about 3 days). i used to use clearasil ultra daily face wash when i would go on trips because i didn't feel like packing my proactiv. it works pretty well but i would still get small bumps on my face. in addition, i have naturally rosy cheeks due to skin irritations, and the neutrogena product has definitely toned it down- just like it promises. i would definitely recommend the neutrogena product!

I have the same problem and just started using clearasil with the saylic acid. It does not dry my skin out like most other acne products. I can't remember the exact kind but it's the one with the really shiny label. It exfoliates really well and I haven't had to use toner with it.
Good Luck.

I would think it would CAUSE redness, because it sounds as though your skin is sensitive. This is a serious question, I'm not trying to offend, but do you have rosacea? That can make your face really red, but i thik this is when it is like permanently red. I don't know what would stop redness, but I would have a dermotologist look at it if it doesn't go away.

Personally I love clean and clear's daily moist. lotion in the purple bottle. The clean and clear acne blackhead scrub isn't too bad of a product either. I don't have blackheads but it's good to scrub dead skin off the face. Good luck, I have redness too.

You need something soothing like witch hazel or a calming face wash to get rid of redness.

not always, because if you have sensitive skin then it can make your skin more red so try looking for a moisturizer or a less hard face wash.

No it's not OK. You shall use AveneThermal products. They are good for allergic skin and acne prone skin. Good luck.

um i wouldn't suggest that for reducing redness. oxy pads are great though.

it doesn't help reduce redness. all it does is clean your face.
