If the pain persists, you need to see a PROFESSIONAL body piercer. Those guns and studs are NOT good for ANY piercing and Icing/Claire's or whatever are NOT trained well to use those guns. Nor does the store care what happens to you. A good piercer will care and will make sure you get pierced the correct way the first time.
Chances are some of the pain is because the piercings are new (everyone is different and for some people the area hurts longer than what they say). The pain might also be coming from poor quality metals used in the jewelry you are wearing. You probably won't want to see a doctor right away, a professional piercer would be a better choice. Generally doctors, while they are smart, lack knowledge about body piercings and other modifications.
Also; whatever they gave you to clean them...THROW IT OUT. All you need is Dial soap and water and sea salt soaks for piercings. Alcohol, peroxide, Bactine and other harsh chemicals are not good for cleaning and while the work for few people, most people wind up with more complications and longer healing periods. Clean them only twice a day.

Hi. Two days ago from the mall? Give it about a week seeing as the guns cause much more trauma than a needle does. It's good that you haven't been touching them because that promotes infection from the bacteria on your hands getting into the open wounds (which a piercing is until the body heals itself around the ring). They should be fine as long as the area around the piercings don't start swelling more and get discolored. If any sort of unnatural colored puss comes out that is not good! If anything doesn't feel right go see a doctor, the best way to judge if an infection is forming is by checking your own ears carefully. Good luck, I hope they don't get infected!

Give it a couple more days, everyone is different. My ears were sore for a week after i got them pierced, but i never got an infection and it was fine after that. Just keep cleaning them and turning the earrings at least twice a day.

You might be allergic to the stud. I would buy some better jewelry like 14 karat gold earring and put those in. Make sure you don't touch your piercing and wash it like said. You could try using dial soap. I have my nose pierced, belly button, and ears and I was told to use dial soap to clean mine and I have never gotten an infection. You can also visit the nearst tatoo/piercing parlor and ask to buy a can of H2Ocean which is for piercing. That stuff works and is used on piercings there.

When I got my lower ones done, they hurt for a couple of days. When I got the upper ones (4 of them, all in one day) they hurt for a week. Just keep cleaning them and don't touch. I'd say if the pain lasts for longer than a week, then you should go see someone. Hope this helps.

okay ive pierced my ears lots of times...and have friends that have too.the worst thing to happen is if u get a red rash on ur ears and if its really bothering u...they will be sore for a couple of days 4-5 but that will go away.dont touch them at all.maybe when u sleep u tend to tug on them with ur pillow etc...but dont worry the pain will lessen..if not then take an aspirin.....

well they sure dont use high grade metals so your ears could be having an allergic reaction to the metal in your ears.. also the backing sheck to see that it is fit loosely. if it is too close it can cause discomfort as th piercing may need to swell.... do these sea salt soaks they will help your eare feel better and ait in the healing process and get rid of any infections..

please go and get it done profesionally next time.. but if these sea salt soaks dont help then you may be allergic to the jewelry and will need to take them out... piercing guns are horrible for you ears.... for a ny piercing =\ please go to a professional next time.. not some teenager who practices on a pierce or paper or a fake rubber ear....

it's been awhile since i've had my ears pierced, but as i recall....the pain definately lasted more than two days.....more like a week at least.....i say if the pain hasn't lessened after a week-then go to the dr.
good luck, and i'm sure they're fine if you're cleaning properly

I would if it continues. When I had my ears pierced, they ended up getting infected and I got something for it.
