Because the drier their skin feels, the silkier yours feels to their dry hands!
Get some friends to group together at your house and invite him over. Get them to hold him down while you moisturize him, he will thank you later!

I totally agree. my old bf had the worst dry and cracked hands because he was a chef and he had to wash his hands several times a day. I asked him why he didn't just use some lotion when he complained about dry hands and he said that lotion was too girly. i told him that he could get some stuff that has no smell but intensive skin care and he still turned it down. what the heck? why don't guys like lotion? it isn't girly! brush up fellas cuz I won't hold your hand if it is cracked and dry.

I think alot of men dont use lotion because for the most part the industry promotes lotion for women more than men. I own a natural skincare company along with my boyfriend and he gives me a lot of insight on how men think. If you promote it like it is for them they will use it, but you can't give a man lotion that is made for women, ie. vanilla, pear, fruity fruity... You have to give them something that is made for them with scents like, frankincense and myrrh, musk, sandalwood or that smell similar to cologne.
You can try finding something that smells the way he likes and go from there. You dont want to try to slather him with Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works.
Just my two scents.

Young men can be stubborn. They realize that lotion is important when they get older and there isn't much else for dry skin. I use lotion more often every winter. My skin demands it.

a lot of guys i know use lotion. last year in english i had this cucumber melon lotion from bath and body works and whenever i took it out these 3 football playing guys that sat around me would all have their hands out. haha.
get some good smelling stuff, and put it on when you are around him and then put some on your hand and be like "ooops i but too much on, here take some" and then wipe it on his hands. maybe he just disses it because he doesnt know how great it is. haha hope this helps.

I asked my hubby, and he said it's a girl thing. Using lotion would make him feel feminine and less of a man. Just slather him with it, he's technically not using it if he's not putting it on himself. Maybe don't do that, he might get mad.

I'm a guy, I like using lotion...I love having soft hands, and so do my girlfriends. Who wants to have dry cracked hands/or who wants to be touched with dry cracked hands. Gross!

our weather's been really dry & my son (14) was complaining about his skin itching so i told him to use my lotion - he gave me a funny look but then i saw him in his room putting lotion on his legs & arms - i cracked up. Guys just resist pampering themselves but they do need to be practical.
