I was thinking of getting my first tattoo. Should I get one in a place less noticeable?

My family has tattoos, but recently my dad has expressed an interest in learning more about the art form from the artist side. Can anyone recommend a magazine that would be good for him?

okay so my best friend and i are going to get our belly buttons pierced soon. We are both 18 and seniors in high school. Our parents are anti piercings and tattoos, but we are just going to hide it from them. How we see it, we are legal and leaving for school next fall. And plus our parents are never at the pool with us. and by the time summer comes we should be healed and can take it out momentarily if we are around our parents.

so here are our questions:
1. Pros and cons
2. Health risks?
3. Best ways to hide them?
4. How long does it take to heal? My friend cheers and has competition soon.
5. do u think we should do it? we really like them!

thanks. I know its dumb we have to hide it from parents, but they are overly strict and conservative.

ok so i wear a bra size 34A but it seems like it dont fit becuz it doesnt cover perfectly and buldges but then when i try a 34B it seems big and idk if it fits ..so how can yu tell when it fits?

I got tattoo recently on my foot. I washed and used the ointment the tattoo artist gave me for 3 days and then switched to lotion. I kept it moist all day for a few days until it all peeled. I thought it was fully healed and it looked good but when I stopped putting lotion on it all of the time it got this rough top layer on it that is like white around the outside of it. In the middle where there is color it is shiny and cracked. Lotion doesn't do anything for it. Will it be okay?

To be honest i just don't get it how come its recommended for perfumes or eau de toilette to be applied on the hot spot of the body (neck and wrist for example) which is the one where sweat comes out . Also how come when i spray a perfume , i just cant smell it after an hour . Lastly is Aqua di Gio and Polo Blue a wonderful combination of fragrance meaning the two are better to use alternatively for each day ( example Aqua di Gio on mon and Polo Blue on Tues ) .Tnx

I had the procedure done four days ago, My sweating has def. subsided but I Still broke into a sweat tonight! Just by going out with friends in a t-shirt. How long does it usualy take for it be fully effective? I heard three days, but if that is the case I need more work done!

I like the word zen and it means a lot to me, im thinking of getting that word tattooed in japenese characters even if people have been saying that its out of style. anyway i thought of putting the symbol around the word since the symbol for zen is a circle. What do you think? would it be too much?

My family means more to me than anything else in this world and I want to get a tattoo the respresents my love for my family. This is my idea:

The words FAMILY LOVE HAPPINESS HEART written in the shape of a heart, and it will be placed in the middle of my chest, above the breast line.

Tell what you think of my idea, and give me some other ideas of a nice tattoo that I could do in honor of my family to represent how much I love them. They are everything to me. No matter what idea I choose it will be on my chest.

well I got my ears pierced in December 2006, and left them in for 6 weeks like your supposed to. But they never seem to heal, as in, have a hole there but healed.

11 months on, I can't even keep my earings out for a day without it partially closing over, and sometimes they bleed a little bit too.

I know they're sensitive, once I tried different earings, they got infected, and I was told to only wear surgical steel ones till they completely close up to normal skin in the hole, but it seems they never will!

Help me?

Is there a soap that I can use on my face and also my body that won't dry out my skin and especially my face? I heard of soap containing triclosan or triclocarban is very bad for your skin and espeacially your face!. I just want a soap that I can get from walgreens or any other small retail store. A soap that won't dry out my face and thats healthy for my face and body. Thanks to all in advance. I currently use Dial Gold antibacterial and deodorant soap.

In high school i started getting acne in grade 10....its not all at once like all over my face but i get 4 or five of them at a time...and its so embarrassing cause i've graduated and am starting college in sept. i still get it on occasion... what do i do!!?? what will help???

I got a tattoo above my ankle four days ago. It's been feeling rather itchy and dry, and today when I was applying A&D I noticed several white cracks running through the tattoo. Is this normal? Are they permanent?

I recently got an industrial in my right ear. Which is my sleeping side. I didn't realize how much I needed to sleep on this side until I couldn't. What are some ways I can get some good sleep and what are some ways to keep from irritating it while I'm asleep?

i totally forgot... but, the tattoo is looking relatively healthy and seems to be healing moderately well and fast, the peeling process seems to be over... but, i've had it for 10 days on the dot... will I be all set? What does it look like when you lose ink? is it visible to the naked eye? because i didn't happen to see anything.
