I love them -- sleeves usually tell an intertwining story about the wearer. I have a lower leg sleeve that still needs some work and I am also in the process of designing an arm sleeve.

I like them a lot but they must be planned out very well. You also have to be patient - it takes a long time to complete (and can run in the thousands for a sleeve with a lot of detail, which to me is the only way to go.)

it really depends on the subject matter and the talent of the artist. i can't say that i love or even like all sleeves because i have definitely seen some awful ones. so i like them if they are worth having but i am definitely somewhat of a tattoo snob and am not immediately impressed by any tattoo just becuse it is a tattoo, if that makes any sense.

I love them!
I'm working on a half sleeve right now, and I'm considering a leg sleeve.

I love them all. And from what I can tell is that Matt likes them too but not when they are over dune. NO one likes over dune, not even someone who is sleeved or has it all dune!!

I like them.... but I don't think it would be good on me... I think having sleeve tattoo it pretty cool and may also telling story on their lives... almost like writing a story or something on their arms.. and backs.

I do!

I am in the middle of getting mine done. I have a traditional Japanese scene with koi fish, dragonflies, lillypads, etc..etc.. on my left forearm. I can't wait til it's finished.

They seem to be the in thing now, but how will it play in 20 years?

Fashions come and go, and life takes a lot of turns. You could find yourself seriously regretting it later.
