I like the word zen and it means a lot to me, im thinking of getting that word tattooed in japenese characters even if people have been saying that its out of style. anyway i thought of putting the symbol around the word since the symbol for zen is a circle. What do you think? would it be too much?

While I respect someone's opinion, I would have to disagree.

I think if it's something you want, then who cares if it's impressive or not?

Ink is all about YOU, not someone else. It's all about what you want and where.

(Incidently, my dog is laying on the couch while I type this and looking at me like I am some kind of goof.)

why would you need a tattoo expert for this? honestly, the idea sounds... like something very boring and usual and not at all impressive. if you want a circle around a word then do it, if you don't... then don't. either way it's not going to make the tattoo one that people will envy.

What you PERMANTLY tattoo on your body must mean something to YOU. If you think it's right, you'll know, and you won't need anyone's opinion from here. How Zen.

Do what you want and makes you happy. Because you are the one who has to look at it EVERYDAY!
