well I got my ears pierced in December 2006, and left them in for 6 weeks like your supposed to. But they never seem to heal, as in, have a hole there but healed.

11 months on, I can't even keep my earings out for a day without it partially closing over, and sometimes they bleed a little bit too.

I know they're sensitive, once I tried different earings, they got infected, and I was told to only wear surgical steel ones till they completely close up to normal skin in the hole, but it seems they never will!

Help me?

Go to a Dr.. and see if they put the holes in Ur cartilage(Grissel)? ????

This happen to me many many years ago..
Go find some studs.. w/ short post but thick...
and leave them in FULL time,, every time u wash ur hair.. do it in the shower..
and at that time.. wash ur ears... do not take the earrings out.... be sure they are 12/14 k gold.. nothing else..
after shower Dr them with alcohol..
on days u do not wash ur hair.. use the alcohol and try to twist them ( just a little) .
Learn to sleep on ur back.. not ur (SIDE) ears...
leave them in for a year.. !!! do not switch out... !!

I didn't think mind would ever get well.. but they did.. and I had them pierced a 2nd time..
the studs are still in.. and I have replaced them several times.. but they stay in full time..
they are up high.. and now down below.. my 2nd hole in my ears.. I wear my dangly ear rings there..
I constantly either use alcohol or
Wash them while I am in the shower..
this was 3 years ago.. and all is fine.. I can sleep on my ears.. with the short post..
again I do not take them out..
good luck...

Mine is the same way. They seem to never heal. One of my lobes got infected, and I just removed the earring until healed and pierced it later on, but there is still some built up scar tissue there which makes healing worse. I would try just putting a 14k gold earring in those holes and not removing them until it heals. Rub alcohol on them each day to disinfect. Don't take the earring out until at least 3 months. Also, peirce the earlobe towards the back where the cartilage is thinner and this will allow the ear to heal in supper time and you can just wear heavier earrings in those holes until the front holes heal like I'm doing. You probably have too much cartilage there, so you will have a longer wait to heal. If it doesn't heal in 3-4 months, just take them out and use the back piercings.

Oh, Gosh.. I had this same problem. >_<

First, Keep your earrigns IN.
6 months, No matter what they say!
Don't go trying to change them. "Oh, these ones look better- '' NO. Lol. Don't. cause that's always resulting in a problem...
Make sure the earring is a stud (Duh) [:
Once - Twice a day, Take a Q-Tip (Cotton Swab), Dip it in Alcohol, and gently just clean the outside of the earring, behind the ear hole, and around that area (WITHOUT REMOVING THE EARRING). Also, A few times a day, twist your earring around. like, Rotate it. (this will prevent it from "Fusing", or clotting up and staying in one place. it'll also make it heal, faster). Just don't twist like forever. Qnce, Twice you're done, a few times a day. Thats it.
Keep your ears clean.

Good luck, darling. <3 [:

Try wearing gold earrings. They're much gentler to the ear.
