You can tan sweetie just cover up the tat for about 2 weeks until after it peeled and seems to be healed.

I would say wait until the tattoo completely heal up before tanning... look like in 6 weeks maybe... I never tanned until I know for sure that my tattoos completely heal up...

You HAVE to wait till it is healed. Like after it stopped peeling. Then you HAVE to put 30SPF or higher on it or it WILL fade. The person who gave you the tattoo should have told all of this!! You shouldn't even do tanning beds with tattoos, that's why people who tattoos(the ones that are serious) don't have a tan!! I have 4 that cover 1/4 of my body and when i go out I put on SPF50. Take care of it, it IS forever.

Until it is totally healed but be careful because tanning beds can ruin a tattoo if you use it too much. They cause it to fade faster which makes it look 10 years old when you've only had it for one.

tattoos can take up to 3 weeks to heal. do not suntan before they heal completley, even then use a sunblock with a high spf and uva protection factor so that your tattoo wont fade. maybe try to cut down the tanning some.

I would wait until it is totally healed (probably a week). Not to sound preachy here, but as a person who has had skin cancer I would really advise against tanning....use those cream tanning products or get a spray on tan which won't cause damage to your skin.

a lifetime. the uv rays will slowly break down the ink in your skin. if you really care what your skin and your tattoo will look like you should avoid uv exposure at all cost. whenever i go outside in the summer in a bathing suit i wear a uv protectant surf shirt to make sure my tattoo is completely protected. you should do the same.
but if you care more about looking tan then you shouldn't even worry about your tattoo because it WILL end up looking bad, i have seen plenty of overexposed tattoos to think any differently.

Yes wait for a good while.....I didn't because I didn't know you're not supposed to tan after a tat...and it got all puffy and looked like poop....it eventually went down and all is good now.

Don't tan. You better put a lot of sunBLOCK on or your tattoo is gonna look like ****.
