I want a make up that gives me a trendy, sexy look. That I can wear everyday to work/school. Does anyone know which is better of the two for African American Women, Sephora or Mac?

I am latin but have light skin, when I use light makeup it looks pink on me and it does not blend with my skin tone. If I try something darker, it looks orange. My skin tone is olive. Where can I buy makeup that will blend in?

I like to wear eye-liner.. but it always seems to fade away. Right now i am using N.Y.C. retractable eye liner and it is the most an eye liner has worked so far. Before i used covergirl eye pencil and it faded away within an hour. My eyes water- alot. I dont know if there is something wrong with my eyes or if its normal... What can i do ?

I have recently started socialising and going out a lot more and have realised that my make-up bag is quite empty. The contents have dwindled down to eyeliner, mascara and concealer. What make-up (including brands if there are any that anyone can recommend) should i have in my make-up for every day, and what for special occasions and nights out? I bought Certain Dri and Im hoping it will do good for me because reviews said it worked for other people.. but I was wondering.. my routine is showering at night because I have swimteam every night and sleeping in clorine hair is not very good for it. Will I have to change my routine to apply certain dry at night or will it be the same?

I have short eyelashes, and I really want to voluminize and lengthen them. The only problem is that almost every mascara out there claims to be the mascara for me. I don't want to spend my money on a mascara that doesn't work.
