You will want to use a highlighter color all over your eye (up to brow bone) , I use a shimmery white. Then do a dark brown in the crease. Start on the outside of your eye where lid creases when opened, go back and forth in crease like a windshield wiper. Then on lid you have many options. (I have deep set eyes so I use another highlighter on my lid, just not the same one.) You could either go with a color similar to eye color, or clothing color. You don't have to match your eye colors to clothes you are wearing, but you can.
Then I suggest a black eyeliner. Line both tops and bottoms. Start on outside corner and work your way in until eyelashes stop (go all the way..not just halfway). By starting on the outside, it helps to keep it thicker on the outside and get thinner as you work your way in.
Now, I suggest taking a dark gold color or even a black color eyeshadow..using an eyeliner brush and going over bottom lid's eyeliner. This will help to give it that smoky look.
Next, curl your eyelashes and top it off with a great black mascara that helps lengthen lashes.
Now remember that because your eyes are your best feature and you want them to stand out, don't go too dark on the lips. The key is either dark on the eyes and light on the lips, or light on the eyes and dark on the lips.
I hope this helps some. I can give you more colors you could play with if you let me know your eye color and skin tone. You can email me if you want to. Good Luck and Have Fun!

The secret is beyond skin-deep. It sounds cliche but it's true. Make up will only enhance what is on the inside. Be confident, genuine and be a good company- i.e. don't forget to smile and be genuinely interested in the other person. But if you must emphasize your best feature (your eyes) to add on to the already beautiful self, make sure your entire make up is complimentary to your face (skin tone and features) and personal style. Don't put on too much bec. it will appear that you try too hard. If you emphasize your eyes, e.g., the "smokey-eye look or bedroom eyes," don't put too much lipstick on (a lipgloss that complements with your skin tone would be just fine)... To do your eyes, put on light eye shadow all over (this will open up your eyes), then put the medium color eye shadow in the middle and the darkest one near your eye lids- depending on the color of your eyes-use shades that will complement them, not distract from your eyes, then line them with eyeliner all over and curl your lashes (if necessary) then use mascara. I usually emphasize my eyes also and the secret is mascara and curling them. Experiment with different looks- then take pictures and see what looks the best. Good luck!

First thing is your eyebrow shape. If your eyebrows are too thin and your eyes are big, your going to look like all you have is eyes, if your eyebrows are bushy for your eyes that looks dirty. So make sure your eyebrows are the perfect shape for your face; because that one element makes the biggest difference in the world. Next, find your eyeshadow quad, they got em for every eye color, Alamay and Avon have really nice combos to help your eyes stand out. But seriously, work on them eyebrows girl!

I have green/brown eyes, and when I use the green eyes kit... I get so many compliments.
For the rest of your face, check out make-up stylists at the department stores and ask for tips.

If you have light eyes use darker eyeshadows to make them stand out. For instance blacks or other dark colors. Dark eyes use lighter or bright colors. Also eyeliner helps make your eyes stand out. As for your face blush or glow/translucents help.
