Makeup - March 2007

i have long, dirty blond hair (few inches past my shoulders), roundish face, almond shaped, hazel eyes, freckles around nose and cheeks, by the way i'm caucasion, and i have side bangs.
i am wondering for casual looks, everyday looks and evening/party looks...please be specific with which look you are suggesting for!
Please use specific brands and colors:
-what foundation should i use?
-Blush?
-Eyeshadow?
-lip gloss/stick?
-any tips or suggestions?
-what do you suggest for hair styles for specific occasions?

I hav a guy friend who mentioned that one of my friends looks "dead" when she does not wear makeup. I thought that was a bit harsh- I thought guys hate makeup! I wear a tiny bit- only a natural eyeshadow and sum mascara- I don't like when it looks overdone- but I was jw- what are your opinions?

Make my face look softer? Not my skin, just my face in general... I don't know how else to describe it... just softer... I'd say 'harsh lines' but I'm 16 and don't have wrinkles.

When I apply foundation its cracks and dries and just bunches up in areas on my face, and its REALLY noticeable, its is doing the exact opposite oof what I want it to do. I have acne, so I am currently treating but I want to cover it, I have 7-8 foundations and they all do the same thing. What am I doing wrong so it doesn't look like its just flaked off my face? I have even tried mouisturizing with a lotion but I don't know if it 's the right type. If you know please tell me what you use and how you apply it! Thanx!

does anyone know of or use an eyeliner that is meant to be applied on the nner rims of eyes and wont smudge, smear, rub, or flake off all day. also, one that doesnt need to be reapplied because it will stay on the inner rim all day long. i dont care if its pencil, liquid, or gel, just as long as it stays there. so, please leave the brand and what its called. kthnxbyee<3

So, I know you can't tell much, but that's me in my avatar. I'd like to wear dark lipstick sometimes, but I'm so pale that it's hard to find a shade that looks okay on me. I tried bright cherry red, but that made me look like a clown, and then I tried a reddish-brown color, and that made me look yellow (because I've got yellow undertones in my skin.) Anyone out there in a similar situation have any suggestions? Or am I doomed to boring peachy lip gloss for the rest of my life?;)

I never bought Victoria's Secret lip gloss until now.. and OH MY GOSH!!!! I'll probably never use another brand ever again. The glosses not only come in amazing shades but in delicious flavors! I bought "I want candy" (light pink) and "Sugar Rush" (clear with shimmer) they're amazing!!! and the greatest part, they last a long time.. that is if you don't lick it off =)

Should I try to buy higher-quality makeup (in my case, eyeliner, eye shadow, blush) for higher prices, or can I just buy it anywhere?
I'm also wondering if it would be a good idea to buy it at stores like Claire's.
