When I apply foundation its cracks and dries and just bunches up in areas on my face, and its REALLY noticeable, its is doing the exact opposite oof what I want it to do. I have acne, so I am currently treating but I want to cover it, I have 7-8 foundations and they all do the same thing. What am I doing wrong so it doesn't look like its just flaked off my face? I have even tried mouisturizing with a lotion but I don't know if it 's the right type. If you know please tell me what you use and how you apply it! Thanx!

Your acne medication is probably drying out your skin. If your skin is too dry, which tends to happen with Salicylic Acid and Peroxide, it will compensate by producing more oil leading to more breakouts.

Try mixing a moisturizer with your foundation. I love Dove Deep Moisture.

Foundation is one cosmetic worth it to splurge on and you will pay more for a higher quality product. If you've been buying over the counter, stop by a department store and try different products.

If you don't find any liquid foundation you like, a lot of people have been happy with mineral makeup such as Bare Escentuals.

Hi, Be sure the moisterizer you are using is not irritating your acne. Then, I would try one of the new mineral foundations because they are more pure and non-irritating. I use Bella Rose by Serious Skin Care sold on HSN or Bare Minerals sold on QVC. It's worth a try and you have nothing to lose as you have a 30 day, money back guarantee. Good luck !

You should mositurize before you apply foundation. Try Cetaphil mositurizer. Its oil free and non-comedegenic. Also, you should try a better foundation. I'm not crazy about many of the drugstore ones, but Lumine Double Stay is pretty good. If you want to spend more you should try Clinique's oil free foundations. You can get samples and try them at home first.
Good Luck!
